WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Anna (Whittaker) is a thirty-year-old single woman living in her mother’s garden shed, where she makes videos using her thumbs as actors and generally not doing anything to advance further in life. Her mother (Ashbourne) eventually tells her that she needs to move out and sort out her self-imposed exile, something that is furthered when she forms a connection with a young boy (Myers) with a fascination for Westerns…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

A quirky little comedy that shows what happens when the most socially awkward person in the world is told to sort themselves out, Adult Life Skills is anchored by a lively lead performance by rising British actress Jodie Whittaker.
