A series of misunderstandings lead the Chipmunks – Alvin (Long), Simon (Gubler) and Theodore (McCartney) – to believe that their owner Dave (Lee) is going to dump them once he proposes to his girlfriend Samantha (Williams-Paisley). Now, they only have three days to get to him in Miami before he proposes in order to save themselves from a terrible fate…
