WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Annie (Wallis) is a foster child who, despite living with cruel foster mother Miss Hannigan (Diaz), remains happy and strong enough to survive the streets of New York. When she is saved one day from an oncoming vehicle by Will Stacks (Foxx), a hardened tycoon and mayoral candidate, he is convinced by personal assistant Grace (Byrne) and campaign manager Guy (Cannavale) to take Annie in as a thinly-disguised publicity move. However, it’s not long before Annie lends her charm to the uptight billionaire…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Whether or not you like the musical Annie to begin with, you can’t deny its effect on audiences and this updated version will have them – and very possibly you, too – singing and dancing until tomorrow (pun intended).
