WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Over ten years since we last visited Calvin’s Barbershop, Calvin (Cube) and his longtime friends are now operating a co-ed business with a group of female hairdressers, who bring drama and gossip to the once male-dominated environment. However, when their neighborhood starts to take a turn for the worse as crime rates and police brutality start to go up, it is up to Calvin and his friends to form a plan to not only save the barbershop, but also their surrounding community…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The popular Barbershop film series is back with an all-new film with characters both old and new – among them Nicki Minaj, because why not – bringing into the spotlight some timely and thought-provoking issues about the current hostility towards African-American communities.
