Carl Casper (Favreau) is a hard-working chef at a high-tier restaurant in Los Angeles, but is suddenly fired when he gets into an online argument with food critic Ramsey Michel (Platt). He decides to return to his native state of Miami where he fixes up a food truck, which he plans to drive cross-country to reclaim his glory in LA…
