WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In order to save their favourite pub from closing down, four friends decide to write a female-centric erotic novel and snap it up for a large sum of money. They eventually reach that goal, but on one condition: they must let a woman do the publicity tour posing as the book’s “author”, while they must keep their real identities secret. They soon find out-of-work actress Zoe (Richards) to fit the role, and she is soon whisked into the spotlight – but as she gets more power over the situation, the guys must find a way to put things right…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Satirising the “mummy porn” book trend made popular by the likes of Fifty Shades of Grey, ChickLit is a riotous comedy that fully explores the ageless saying that “sex sells”.
