WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 2002, while performing an autopsy on American football player Mike Webster (Morse), Dr. Bennet Omalu (Smith) discovers that he died of severe brain damage caused by repeated blows to the head during his sports career. Upon realising that more and more players are suffering from the same prognosis, Omalu attempts to alert his findings to the National Football League, only for the organisation to continuously dismiss him. Now, Omalu becomes embroiled in a battle against the NFL to get them to acknowledge the truth…
