Writer and historian Deborah Lipstadt (Weisz) is sued for libel by David Irving (Spall), after she names him a Holocaust denier in her book. Lipstadt must now work to prove Irving’s claims are abhorrently incorrect, while fighting to maintain freedom of speech as well as the horrifying legacy of one of humanity’s darkest periods…
