WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the near future, a revolutionary new procedure has been unveiled that can potentially solve the growing environmental and overcrowding crises: by shrinking down humans to just an inch or two tall, and having them live in small (to normal-sized humans, anyway) cities and landscapes. This attracts the attention of couple Mark (Damon) and Audrey (Wiig), who decide to abandon their old lives and start anew in this miniaturised utopia; however, it’s not until the irreversible procedure is completed that things take an unexpected turn…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The latest film by Alexander Payne is certainly his most ambitious idea yet, and if he stick the landing it could well be another classic to add to his impressive filmography.
