WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1657, on an isolated farm in Shropshire, Fanny Lye (Peake) lives a Puritan life with her husband John (Dance) and their son Arthur (Adams). However, the unexpected arrival of two strangers Thomas (Fox) and Rebecca (Reynolds), who are on the run from a ruthless sheriff (McDonald) and his deputy (Fitzpatrick), causes Fanny’s world to fall apart…
