WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1950s Pennsylvania, working class African-American man Troy Maxson (Washington) lives a seemingly idyll existence with his wife Rose (Davis) and their son Cory (Adepo), and works as a waste collector to provide for his family. However, as events start to become clearer, it transpires that Troy has more of a guilty conscience than first thought, as he struggles to come to terms with events in his own life that leads to a number of confrontations with those he loves…
