After years of living in luxury, “Lady” Sandra Abbott (Staunton) discovers that her husband (Sessions) has been cheating on her with her best friend (Lawrence). She seeks refuge in the flat of her estranged older sister Bif (Imrie), and struggles to adjust to her new life, until Bif takes her to a local community dance class, where she meets some new friends including Charlie (Spall), Jackie (Lumley) and Ted (Hayman), and discovers a whole new lease of life and love…
