WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Danny (Mays) is a fast-living and cynical music producer who heads down to Cornwall for a stag weekend. There, he comes across a group of sea shanty-singing fishermen named the Fisherman’s Friends, and is pranked by his boss Troy (Clarke) into trying to sign them for a record deal. As he tries to convince the group and their families to try for glory, he is taken aback by their preference for friendship and community over fame and fortune, and with their help begins to realise what success truly means…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

This crowd-pleasing musical comedy tells the story of a real-life group of fishermen who became the world’s most unlikely singing group to ever emerge out of Cornwall.
