WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the near future, most of humanity has succumbed to an infection that takes away the victim’s mental powers and turns them into flesh-eating zombies known as “Hungries”. What’s left of the human race resides in a heavily-guarded London, where they desperately try to find a cure by studying a small group of children who are part-human, part-“Hungry”, and unlike others can keep their violent urges in check unless they are close enough to smell it. However, when teacher Helen (Arterton) becomes uncomfortable with what the scientists are doing to these children, she risks everything to ensure the safety of one girl from the group called Melanie (Nanua)…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Based on the acclaimed novel, The Girl With All The Gifts brings a new twist to the zombie movie that doubles up on the humanity and doesn’t resort to the usual blood and guts (most of the time, anyway).
