WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

When Leon (Jones) is killed in a supposed construction accident, nobody in the working class neighbourhood of God’s Pocket is upset or even sorry he’s gone. His father, Mickey (Hoffman), attempts to bury the bad news with the body of his step-son, but things go from bad to worse when questions start being asked about what really happened to Leon…

God’s Pocket not only marks the debut of Mad Men regular John Slattery as a feature director, but also showcases one of Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s final completed films before his untimely passing earlier this year.
