WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 19th century Snowdonia, a young girl named Gwen (Worthington-Cox) tries desperately to hold her home together, despite her mother’s (Peake) mysterious illness, her father’s absence, and a ruthless mining company that’s slowly encroaching on their land. In the midst of everything, a growing darkness soon casts its shadow on her home, which causes the townsfolk to turn against Gwen and her family…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Eleanor Worthington-Cox is marvellous as the titular character of this gothic folk tale with some unexpectedly dark and unforgiving horror aspects to it.
