WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

During the Second World War, Desmond Doss (Garfield) enlists in the US Army as a medic, but faces persecution and accusations of cowardice when he refuses to touch a weapon with which he is expected to kill the enemy. He soon finds himself on the battlefields of Okinawa in one of the bloodiest conflicts of the war, where he ends up making a difference without touching a single weapon…
