WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Forty years after he went on a killing spree after escaping from incarceration, Michael Myers (Castle/Courtney) escapes once again and returns to Haddonfield where he begins killing people left and right – but he is about to face a serious adversary in the form of Laurie Strode (Curtis), who survived his last attack and has spent the last four decades preparing for a final showdown…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Following a series of underwhelming sequels to John Carpenter’s 1978 horror classic, David Gordon Green has decided to completely do away with continuity and make this series reboot a direct sequel to the first film, and it looks to genuinely be the best one in this franchise since the one that started it all.
