WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the time of Romans, Atti (Croft) is a brainy but scrawny teenager who’s quite good at coming up with new and inventive schemes. However, when one of them falls foul of Emperor Nero (Roberts), he is forced to join the Roman Army as punishment, and is sent to cold wet Britain where the natives are revolting (figuratively and literally). He is soon captured by Orla (Jones), a feisty young Celt determined to prove herself as a warrior, but despite forming a friendship they soon find themselves fighting on opposing sides during the Battle of Watling Street…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The popular Horrible Histories series gets its own fun little movie, focusing on the gruesome (but family-friendly) era of the Roman Empire and their firm grasp on the people of Britain.
