After literally destroying the Hunger Games forever after the events of Catching Fire, Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) finds herself headed to the fabled District 13 after her own District 12 is wiped out by the forces of President Snow (Sutherland). Once there, and under the leadership of President Coin (Moore), Katniss learns to spread her wings as the symbolic “mockingjay” that has inspired the rebelling masses if she and her allies are to save Peeta (Hutcherson) from the Capitol’s clutches and restore peace and order to Panem once and for all…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The end is nigh for the highly-successful Hunger Games franchise, but not quite as this time we are treated to the first half of the epic finale that puts everyone’s favourite characters – and a few new ones, too – in perilous situations.
