WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Ricky (Dennison), an overweight young delinquent in New Zealand, is sent to the countryside to live with new foster parents Aunt Bella (Wiata) and the cantankerous Uncle Hec (Neill). When an incident means that Ricky is to be taken back by social services, he runs off into the surrounding woodland, followed closely by Uncle Hec. With social services hot on their tail when they think Uncle Hec has kidnapped Ricky, the two must overcome their differences if they are to survive…
