WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

It’s been twenty years since the alien invasion was thwarted by the humans, and in that time the Earth Space Defense program has begun serving as the planet’s early warning system, using alien technology salvaged from the first attack to form strong military forces based on the Moon and surrounding planets. However, a signal sent out into deep space from the previous attack is received, and soon a far bigger fleet is slowly gravitating towards Earth with a plan to wipe out humanity once and for all…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

One of the biggest blockbusters of the 90s finally gets a much-needed follow – albeit without Will Smith, whose character has been killed off in between films – which promises action on a far bigger scale and effects that threaten to be amongst the most epic that Roland Emmerich has delivered on-screen.
