WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Dr. Steven Murphy (Farrell), a renowned surgeon, lives an idyllic life with his wife Anna (Kidman) and their children Kim (Cassidy) and Bob (Suljic). However, once he takes under his wing teenager Martin (Keoghan), whose father recently died on Steven’s operating table, he begins to watch his life fall apart as soon as Martin’s behaviour becomes more and more sinister…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Yorgos Lanthimos’ previous film, the Oscar-nominated The Lobster, may have divided audiences and critics, but with this more streamlined psychological thriller he looks to make something that everyone can agree is an absolute hoot.
