WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

After his father (Bana) is murdered by Vortigern (Law), his uncle who then also claims the throne, young Arthur (Hunnam) – robbed of his birthright and without any idea of his true identity – is left to grow up on the rough streets of Londinium. His fate comes calling, however, when Arthur successfully pulls the fabled sword Excalibur from the stone, and must now venture on an epic quest to discover the sword’s many secrets, and also reclaim his right to the throne…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Guy Ritchie’s take on the classic King Arthur myth should be as gritty and grisly as you could expect, and if he can make it work for Sherlock Holmes then surely he can do the same for the legendary ruler.
