WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the near future, mutants are all but extinct and the X-Men have disbanded. Logan, aka Wolverine (Jackman), is working a quiet job as a chauffeur, and also looks after an ailing Charles Xavier (Stewart), whilst also struggling with his self-healing powers slowly fading away. One day, a female stranger asks Logan to drive a young girl named Laura (Keen) up to the Canadian border, a task he at first refuses until Xavier reveals he has been waiting for her. As the three of them are pursued by sinister figures working for a large corporation, young Laura reveals abilities that are very much like that of Logan’s, leaving him to figure out how to save her if it comes at a very personal sacrifice…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

It’s time for Hugh Jackman to put on the claws one more time, but as this is the actor’s final appearance as everyone’s favourite mutant, they’ve gone all out to make this the most violent, adult and dramatic Wolverine film – or better yet, X-Men film – ever.
