WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1930s London, Michael (Whishaw) and Jane Banks (Mortimer) – now grown up – are facing personal losses and possible foreclosure on their house in Cherry Tree Lane. It is at this stage when their old magical nanny Mary Poppins (Blunt) returns into their lives to look after them as well as Michael’s young children. With the help of lamplighter Jack (Miranda) and her eccentric cousin Topsy (Streep), Poppins helps the Banks family to rediscover the magic in their lives…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

One of the most beloved musicals of all time, Mary Poppins has gone over fifty years without a follow-up – but now, the magical nanny makes a magnificent comeback with a movie that’s practically perfect in every way.
