WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Ten-year-old girl Anna Beam (Rogers) is suffering from a pseudo-obstruction motility disorder, which eventually leaves her unable to properly eat without feeding tubes for nutrition. Although her mother Christy (Garner) and father Kevin (Henderson) try to search for a medical cure, all seems to be lost for the family – until an accident mysteriously cures her of her illness, which may be the work of divine intervention…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

A heart-wrenching family drama for the ages, Miracles from Heaven also works as a solid reaffirmation of the powers of Christianity, which will probably cater only to those of that particular faith (or if you’re just curious to check out a wholly decent movie as a whole).
