WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
In 1973, young John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) – the nephew of wealthy oil tycoon J. Paul Getty (Christopher Plummer) – is kidnapped by an organised crime regime, who demand a hefty random for his safe release. However, J. This tense thriller about the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III and the fallout surrounding it was already a highly anticipated film from director Ridley Scott, but the recent unheard of reshoots and recasting of a major role so close to its release date should earn it even more attention.
