WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

A young boy named Mowgli (Chand) is raised in the jungles of India by a pack of wolves, and learns the harsh rules of survival by his mentors, Baloo the bear (Serkis) and Bagheera the panther (Bale). However, when ferocious tiger Shere Khan (Cumberbatch) sets his eyes on the man-cub, Mowgli is sent on a journey that sees him coming face to face with his human origins…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

For those who were unsatisfied by Disney’s recent live-action version of the classic Rudyard Kipling story of The Jungle Book, here is director and co-star Andy Serkis’s darker and slightly more faithful adaptation that will hopefully give those people a more adult alternative to the other one.
