WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In an unremarkable Yorkshire town, Pete (Jarvis), a withdrawn thirty-something who occasionally works as a handyman at a local school, meets Laurie (Coe), a sullen teenager who’s recently moved into the area with her mother (Frost). The two strangers and outsiders slowly form a connection with each other, and it isn’t long before their unique bond grows into something else…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Cosmo Jarvis, who earlier this year received some stunning praise for his emotional work in Calm with Horses, makes good on his early promise with another powerful performance in this gripping character study about an unlikely relationship.
