WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

On the night of February 25th 1964, after the shock win of boxer Cassius Clay (Goree) – later Muhammad Ali – over his opponent Sonny Liston, civil rights leader Malcolm X (Ben-Adir) arranges for a party in a small Miami hotel room for him, Clay, singer Sam Cooke (Odom Jr.) and football player Jim Brown (Hodge) to attend, where they all discuss the vital roles that each one of them play in the ongoing fight for equality…
