WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

A mischievous and adventurous young rabbit named Peter (Corden) finds himself at odds with mean gardener Mr. McGregor (Gleeson) who is doing whatever it takes to prevent Peter and his animal friends from getting into his garden and stealing his vegetables. Their quarrel, for the garden as well as the affections of warm-hearted animal lover Bea (Byrne), soon escalates into an all-out war between man and animal…

Beatrix Potter’s classic literary character gets to shine in his first feature-length film which hopefully will do the timeless and universal tales she told justice (which, given the horrendous trailers put out by Sony, isn’t all that likely, to be honest).
