WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1969, 10-year-old Buddy (Hill) lives with his mother (Balfe), father (Dornan) and grandparents (Dench and Hinds) within the Northern Ireland suburbs of Belfast, which soon become the battlegrounds for a devastating turf war between the Protestants and the Catholics. As his parents weigh the choice to depart Belfast for a new life elsewhere, Buddy attempts to navigate the pitfalls of childhood as normally as he can…
