WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Retired couple Olivier (Saladin) and Laurence (Cravotta) enter a local dance competition to solve their towering debt. Government official Stéphane Lemarchand (Paou) is suspected of tax fraud. Sexually curious teenager Louise (Grasmug) strikes up a perverted conversation with her OB-GYN (Gardin). Eventually, these seemingly unconnected stories cross over in dark, unexpected ways…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

This bizarre French film from filmmaker Jean-Christophe Meurisse seems at first to be a pretty clever satire, but then it takes a turn that needs to be seen to be believed.
