WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Ruby (Jones) is a teenager and the only hearing member of her deaf family, including parents Frank (Kotsur) and Jackie (Matlin), and brother Leo (Durant). When she isn’t helping her family with their fishing business, she explores her passion for singing at her school’s choir club. However, when an opportunity arises for Ruby to follow her dream by applying for music school, she finds herself torn between her family and her goals…
