WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

After contributing to the construction of the Statue of Liberty, renowned French civil engineer Gustave Eiffel (Duris) is keen to pursue smaller projects, despite being pressured by the government to produce something new for the 1889 Paris World Fair. However, a chance encounter with Adrienne (Mackey), a mysterious woman from his past, inspires Eiffel to begin work on an iconic monument that will change the French skylines forever…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Essentially France’s answer to Shakespeare in Love, this historical romance takes the tale of engineer Gustave Eiffel – and the construction of his most lasting legacy, the Eiffel Tower – and mixes it with a fictional, but no less pleasing, romance.
