WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Best friends Sean (Cyler) and Kunle (Watkins) are Black students at a predominantly-white college, where they plan to complete a legendary cycle of exclusive frat parties. However, when they come across a white girl (Nichols) passed out in their living room, they hesitate to call the police over fears of immediately being suspected of wrong-doing, and so begins a wild and desperate night to try and figure out the situation…

Both a hilarious college buddy comedy, and a rather disturbing satire of institutionalised racism, Emergency – adapted from the short of the same name – is as unpredictable as it is all too telling of our current society.
