WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Frances Price (Pfeiffer), a penniless Manhattan socialite whose vast inheritance has dried up, sells the last of her possessions and resolves to live out the rest of her days in a borrowed apartment in Paris. She is accompanied only by her directionless son Malcolm (Hedges), and a small cat named Small Frank, who may or may not be inhabited by the spirit of her dead husband…
