WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1930s Italy, grief-stricken carpenter Geppetto (Bradley) constructs a wooden puppet that is brought to life by a magical spirit (Swinton). The puppet, named Pinocchio (Mann), under the watch of his mindful conscience Sebastian J. Cricket (McGregor), gets into all sorts of mischief that soon attracts the attention of exploitative carnival owner Count Volpe (Waltz), as well as the increasingly prominent Fascist government…
