WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the near future, convicts are offered the choice to volunteer as medical subjects in exchange for a shorter sentence. One of the convicts (Teller) is chosen to be the subject for an emotion-altering drug, an experiment overseen by prison enforcer Steve Abnesti (Hemsworth), which causes him to fall in love with a fellow inmate (Smollett), who he must try and save from harm while also questioning his own emotional state…
