WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 2001, retired Italian worker Fabrizio Collini (Nero) kills wealthy German industrialist Hans Meyer (Zapatka) with seemingly no motive, and is placed in custody. His defence is placed in the hands of young lawyer Caspar Leinen (M’Barek) in his first major case, and since he was a former protégé of Meyer’s he has more reason to become involved. However, as Caspar digs deeper into the case, he uncovers a troubling secret that propels his case into one of the most high-profile in German law history…
