WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

During the Second World War, young siblings Lily (Gadsdon), Pattie (Hamilton) and Ted (Cudby) are sent to stay in the Yorkshire village of Oakworth, where they are helped to adjust by Bobbie Waterbury (Agutter), her daughter Annie (Smith), and grandson Thomas (Haynes). Soon, the children discover wounded American soldier Abe (Aikens) hiding in the railyard, and they resolve to help their new friend by going on a dangerous quest…
