WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

On the quiet border of Pembrokeshire in Wales, a lowly toll booth operator (Smiley) hides from his criminal past in the one place that nobody would think to look. However, when his past eventually catches up with him, he enlists the help of some local eccentrics to shift the scent away from suspicious police officer Catrin (Elwy)…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Not to be confused with the recent Shudder horror of the same name, this Wales-set dark comedy that also happens to be called The Toll features fun performances from character actors like Michael Smiley and Iwan Rheon, and plenty of irreverent pitch-black humour.

WHEN’S IT OUT?

FRIDAY 27TH AUGUST 2021

WHERE CAN I FIND IT?

IN CINEMAS NATIONWIDE, AND AVAILABLE TO RENT/BUY ON DIGITAL PLATFORMS, INCLUDING AMAZON PRIME VIDEO
