In modern-day Amsterdam, at the famed Anne Frank House, Kitty (Stokes) – the imaginary friend of Anne Frank (Carey) herself – suddenly comes to life. Believing Anne to still be alive, Kitty sets out to be reunited with her best friend, but she slowly discovers the heart-breaking truth, as well as the legacy that she left behind…
