WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

A group of LGBT activists attempt to raise money for the families affected by the miner’s strike of 1984, which would eventually form the Lesbians and Gays Support The Miners campaign. But when The National Union of Mineworkers shows reluctance to be associated with an openly-gay organisation, the group decides to take their donations directly to a small mining village in Wales, where an unlikely alliance forms that proves successful for both communities…
