WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

The galaxy is in turmoil as the Empire continuously crushes oppression, and moves to wipe out the Rebel Alliance. When the rebels learn that the Empire is constructing a major moon-sized weapon that can destroy planets twice its size – a weapon that soon becomes known as the Death Star – they recruit young outsider Jyn Erso (Jones), whose father Galen (Mikkelsen) is instrumental to its design, to lead a small team of rebels on a mission to steal the plans and save the galaxy from the Empire’s mighty power…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

If you’ve ever wondered how the Rebel Alliance was able to blow up the Death Star in the first Star Wars movie, then Rogue One should fill in the blanks – and if not, it’ll do until Star Wars: Episode VIII arrives this time next year.
