WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Walter Mitty (Stiller) is an ordinary man with an extraordinary imagination – so extraordinary, in fact, that he constantly enters it to escape his dull, mundane reality where he cannot even bring himself to speak to crush Cheryl (Wiig). His job in the photography department at Life Magazine is threatened when a business merger, led by a bullying executive (Scott), suggests a move to online resources, but when Walter is tasked with finding a missing photograph by the reclusive photographer Sean O’Connell (Penn) he sets out on a globe-trotting adventure where, for the first time in his life, he encounters the world for how it really is…
