WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Famed horror writer Shirley Jackson (Moss) is struggling to find inspiration for her latest work, until her husband Stanley Hyman (Stuhlbarg) invites young couple Fred (Lerman) and Rose (Young) to live with them. Fascinated with the young couple, Shirley and Stanley begin to assert themselves into their guests’ marriage and lives, which starts to give Shirley the inspiration she needs to finish her writing…
