WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Will Sawyer (Johnson) is a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader, left with his left leg amputated following an operation gone wrong, and is now a security assessor for skyscraper buildings. His current assignment brings him and his family, including wife Sarah (Campbell) and their two young children, to “The Pearl”, the world’s tallest and safest skyscraper located in Hong Kong. However, when the building comes under attack by terrorists, and Sawyer finds himself framed for it, he must risk everything to clear his name and save his family, who have been caught in the crossfires of the attack…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Dwayne Johnson continues his domination of action movies with this exciting and intense movie which not only takes place in the (fictional) tallest building in the world, but gives Johnson’s character an extra level of depth by making him an amputee.
