WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Five old friends from university gather together at an isolated lodge in the country for the weekend, to scatter the ashes of their friend Jonesy (Straughan), who had drowned himself in the nearby lake three years earlier. To liven things up, they each tell each other scary stories of murders, ghosts and monsters, but as the night rages on they soon find that they are all part of a horror story that’s all too real…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

British comedy veterans Mackenzie Crook and Johnny Vegas are part of the ensemble for this low-key but no less effective horror-comedy where the scares, and laughs, come in spades.
